Therapy can be richly rewarding as it promotes growth and self-compassion. With the help of therapy, you can develop a deeper connection with yourself and others to live a more satisfying life. Kristin believes that although therapy can be challenging at times, it can also be playful, utilizing humor and genuine curiosity. Her style is engaged, empathic, caring, and warm. In her work, Kristin believes in meeting clients where they are at and regarding each person as the expert in their own life. Each individual’s experience is honored and their ethnic and cultural background, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, and beliefs will be treated with respect.

Although Kristin’s foundation is based in psychodynamic therapy, she tailors her approach for each unique client and their needs. Kristin strives to create a non-judgmental and collaborative environment that fosters trust, safety, and connection. Together, Kristin may work with you to explore past and present experiences, uncover unconscious material, process difficult thoughts and emotions, and experiment with new behaviors and ways of relating.
